September 2023<br><strong>\u00d6ffnungszeiten:<\/strong> Di + Mi: 10:00 \u2013 18:00 Uhr, Do \u2013 So: 12:00 \u2013 20:00 Uhr (Montags geschlossen)<br><strong>Ort:<\/strong> UN Projektraum (B\u00fclowstra\u00dfe 97, 10783 Berlin)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Ausstellung \u00bbSTORIES OF BERLIN\u00ab findet statt anl\u00e4sslich des f\u00fcnfj\u00e4hrigen Bestehens von Fresh A.I.R., dem Artist-in-Residence-Programm der Stiftung Berliner Leben. In der Ausstellung sind videok\u00fcnstlerische Werke von ehemaligen Fresh A.I.R.-Stipendiat*innen zu sehen, die zwischen 2020 und 2022 in Berlin aktiv waren. In ihren Videos setzen sich <strong>Tom\u00e1\u0161 Kaj\u00e1nek (CZE)<\/strong>, <strong>Lotte Reimann (DEU)<\/strong> und <strong>Marc Samper (ESP)<\/strong> mit der Vergangenheit und Gegenwart Berlins und seinen Bewohner*innen auseinander und er\u00f6ffnen feinf\u00fchlige Zug\u00e4nge zu Subkulturen und Offline-Realit\u00e4ten. \u00dcberraschende Gest\u00e4ndnisse sowie einmalige Einblicke ins Familienarchiv gew\u00e4hren den Betrachtenden Einlass in Bereiche, die von den Mainstream-Medien zumeist unbeachtet bleiben. Auf diese Weise lassen sich einige neue Seiten von Berlin und seinen Bewohner*innen entdecken.<\/p>\n\n\n\t\t<section class=\"slider-section\" data-controls=\"true\" data-gallery=\"false\" Vernissage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Er\u00f6ffnung der Fresh A.I.R.-Jubil\u00e4umsausstellung \u00bbSTORIES OF BERLIN\u00ab im Rahmen der Langen Nacht der Museen 2023 war ein Erfolg. Ankn\u00fcpfend an das diesj\u00e4hrige Motto \u00bbSounds of Berlin\u00ab, bei dem sich in der lauen Sommernacht die Stadtger\u00e4usche zu einem pulsierenden Klangteppich vermischten, tauchten die Besucher*innen der Ausstellung ein in einen Raum der Ruhe und Intimit\u00e4t und erhaschten einen Blick auf ein Berlin weit jenseits der Touristenansicht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Vorstand der Stiftung Berliner Leben Dr. Hans-Michael Brey er\u00f6ffnete den Abend mit einem Gru\u00dfwort. Anschlie\u00dfend f\u00fchrte die K\u00fcnstlerische Leiterin und Kuratorin des Programms Janine Arndt in die Kontexte der Ausstellung ein. Eine der ausgestellten K\u00fcnstler*innen, Lotte Reimann, war pers\u00f6nlich vor Ort und berichtete den Besucher*innen in eigenen Worten \u00fcber ihre Videoarbeit \u00bbBeyond\u00ab. Nach einem Toast auf viele weitere erfolgreiche Jahre der internationalen K\u00fcnstlerf\u00f6rderung im Rahmen von Fresh A.I.R., nutzten die G\u00e4ste bei einem Umtrunk die Gelegenheit zum pers\u00f6nlichen Austausch mit den Verantwortlichen und der K\u00fcnstlerin*.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Fresh A.I.R.-Team nutzte den feierlichen Rahmen auch, um sich bei allen Beteiligten der vergangenen 5 Jahre in aller Form zu bedanken. Mit Ihrer Kompetenz, Leidenschaft und ihrem Engagement haben sie alle dazu beigetragen, Fresh A.I.R. mit Leben zu f\u00fcllen und das F\u00f6rderprogramm zu dem zu machen, was es heute ist. Jahrhundert bis in die Gegenwart, wobei er historisches Filmmaterial und Quellen aus dem Archiv im B\u00f6hmischen Dorf in Rixdorf verwendet, um Migrationsgr\u00fcnde, Fluchterfahrungen und deren nachhaltige Auswirkungen zu untersuchen. Die daraus entstandene Videoarbeit \u00bbDedications\u00ab beleuchtet den fortschreitenden Gentrifizierungsprozess in Neuk\u00f6lln und Rixdorf und w\u00fcrdigt gleichzeitig die anhaltende Pr\u00e4senz der Nachfahren b\u00f6hmischer EinwanderInnen in der Region. Das Video wird von einem tschechischen Sprecher gesprochen und ist mit deutschen, englischen und polnischen Untertiteln versehen. W\u00e4hrend ihres* Aufenthalts in Berlin (4 \u2013 9\/2021) f\u00fchrte sie* Interviews mit Berlinerinnen und Berlinern \u00fcber sexuelle W\u00fcnsche und Praktiken und wie diese in westlichen Gesellschaften mit dem Konzept der \u203aNatur\u2039 verwoben sind. Visuell begleitet werden die Gespr\u00e4chsausschnitte von einer Archivsammlung teils monochromer, teils farblich verzerrter fotografischer Abbildungen aus dem Internet, die menschliche K\u00f6rper in Gro\u00dfaufnahme, Bienen, Pflanzen, Landschaften und Innenr\u00e4ume zeigen.<br>Die kulturell \u203aaufkl\u00e4rerische\u2039 Erz\u00e4hlung \u00fcber Liebe und Fortpflanzung von \u00bbDen Blumen und den Bienen\u00ab wird neu aufgegriffen und spielerisch verfremdet. In seiner Videoarbeit \u00bbHaiku 7 minute series\u00ab hat der K\u00fcnstler eine meditative Atmosph\u00e4re geschaffen, die mit dem L\u00e4rm und der Geschwindigkeit der zeitgen\u00f6ssischen urbanen Kultur und ihrer Medien kontrastiert. Verst\u00e4rkt wird diese Wirkung durch die Anwendung einer fern\u00f6stlichen Dichtkunst auf Sampers k\u00fcnstlerische Praxis. So inszeniert er seine Videoarbeiten teilweise als visuelle Haikus und erz\u00e4hlt in poetischen, pr\u00e4gnanten Sequenzen ganze Alltagsgeschichten.<br>Ein bemerkenswerter Aspekt des Haiku ist sein Bestreben, den Anschein des Nichts durch den Ausdruck minimaler Ereignisse zu erzeugen.
