Er war einer der ersten Graffiti-Writer New York Citys, denen der Sprung von den Bahnh\u00f6fen in die Galerien gelang. Crash war der Wegbereiter f\u00fcr einen Trend, der sich \u00fcber die Jahrzehnte zu einer Subkultur entwickelt hat. Seine Arbeiten wurden 2017 bei der Er\u00f6ffnung des URBAN NATION Museums ausgestellt. Crash nimmt teil an der Ausstellung &#8222;Love Letters to the City&#8220;, 2024-2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Im Alter von 13 Jahren schloss er sich \u00e4lteren Jungen aus seinem Stadtteil an, deren Ziel die Bahnh\u00f6fe waren, und begann unter dem Pseudonym Crash mit dem Bombing. 1980 kuratierte er die bahnbrechende Ausstellung \u201eGraffiti Art Success for America\u201c in der Bronx, was als Geburtsstunde der Graffiti-Bewegung angesehen werden kann. Zugleich bedeutete diese Ausstellung f\u00fcr Crash den Sprung von Graffiti auf Z\u00fcgen zu Graffiti in Galerien auf der ganzen Welt.
