November 2021 eine auf Graffiti, Street Art und Urban-Art-Literatur spezialisierte Bibliothek er\u00f6ffnet. Sie zeigt die Entwicklung dieser Kunstrichtungen seit den 1970er-Jahren sowie die Vielfalt ihrer Genres und Ausdrucksformen. Ein Fokus liegt auf dem Style Writing ab den 1970er-Jahren in der U.S.-Tradition, ausgehend von Philadelphia und New York. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der nun kontinuierlich wachsende Bestand basiert auf einer gro\u00dfz\u00fcgigen Schenkung sowie Dauerleihgaben von Publikationen und Archivalien durch Martha Cooper. Die MCL versammelt zudem relevantes Material f\u00fcr die Recherche von WissenschaftlerInnen, K\u00fcnstlerInnen und KuratorInnen und steht den StipendiatInnen des Residenzprogramms \u201eFresh A.I.R.\u201c zur Verf\u00fcgung. Interessenten werden eingeladen, die Pr\u00e4senzbibliothek ab 2. November 2021 nach vorheriger Anmeldung zu nutzen. Der Lesesaal der Bibliothek befindet sich im ersten Stockwerk des URBAN NATION Museums.
