Floating Mural by Mina Mania

Mina Mania’s mural, “Les nénettes”, created for the Floating Murals at the Bülow Street Festival, celebrates individuality, diversity, and connection. The title translates to “the girls” and features her iconic figure, Nana—a representation of the independent, confident, and open-minded woman who defies traditional stereotypes.

In this piece, four Nanas stand for the four elements—fire, water, earth, air—symbolizing how individual parts come together to form a greater whole. Each figure shares a core essence yet differs in style, color, and attitude, reflecting both uniqueness and unity.

@theminamania uses this artwork to emphasize the importance of diversity and mutual support. By learning from one another, inspiring each other, and standing together, we can find strength in our differences. Her mural invites viewers to look closely, listen carefully, and form their own perspectives—values that are especially relevant in today’s world.
