Your Wall of Fame: Your words become graffiti art
- October 15, 2026
One word, one crew, one wall: In the URBAN NATION Museum’s new workshop, you’ll develop your own graffiti style and work together to design your Wall of Fame.
What makes a graffiti piece stand out? How do letters become unique styles?
At a Wall of Fame—also known as a Hall of Fame—graffiti artists gather to showcase their styles and pieces on a wall. These walls are important hubs of graffiti culture: here, artists experiment with techniques, develop new ideas, and display their distinct styles. Unlike many street art works, classic graffiti writing often focuses on the lettering itself—its structure, its dynamism, and its distinctive style.
This is where the URBAN NATION Museum’s new workshop format comes in. Right next to the URBAN NATION workshop, you’ll work as a crew to create your own Wall of Fame. It all starts with a word of your own choosing. Together, you’ll make it big: you’ll learn how to use a spray can, experiment with letters, colors, and effects, and enhance your piece with complementary graphic elements. It’s not just about technique—it’s also about developing your own visual style.
Guided by experienced artists from the graffiti scene, you’ll discover how initial ideas evolve into unique pieces and how different styles come together on a shared wall.
