Biography / Aaron Glasson

Aaron Glasson is an artist and creative director from Auckland, New Zealand. Aaron’s art covers a diverse range of mediums consisting of installations, vibrant murals, paintings, illustration, and films. His art explores themes that discuss the human relationship to the natural environment, community empowerment and education. Aaron’s works are featured as a part of the opening of URBAN NATION Museum in 2017.

The artist, born in New Zealand and resides in San Diego, in addition to his illustrations and gallery art, also creates murals across the globe. His murals, both surreal and vibrant in ethereal aspects, also firm foundations in reality, his works frequently depicting real people on their own personal journeys.

Glasson’s topics, which centre on nature, biology and botany, are featured in the aspects of his own life as the creative director of an international conservation organisation he began named PangeaSeed, an effort that aims to gather together artists, environmentalists and activists of ecology and to raise awareness.
