Biography / Alina Suarasan

Alina Suarasan is a Romanian photographer, art director & writer. She combines photography and words. Starting with doing portrait photographs for actors she developed a passion behind the lense to tell specific stories that are special and that she wants to share. She is part of the 2019 URBAN NATION Artist in Residence Scholarship Program.

Suarasan finds inspiration for her art in the “here and now” of this world. She wants to take different views behind severe problems of our times and aims to add something meaningful to it. A solution or just a hint for others to pay attention. Alina Suarasan is influenced by everything known as well as unknown. “When I see a Banksy piece my heart absolutely flies mostly because of his smartness.”
