Biography / Bumblebeelovesyou

American artist Bumblebeelovesyou or simply known as Bumblebee, uses stencils and mixed media to create images of children in all sizes from small to large-scale, depicting heavy topics of our times in a playful matter. His works are featured as a part of the opening of URBAN NATION Museum in 2017.

Bumblebeelovesyou was born in Downey, California, and raised in the South Eastern part of Los Angeles. He made a name for himself in the urban art scene with his stencils and mixed media artworks of children addressing topics like child homelessness or the impact of modernity on nature and environment. Despite dealing with serious subjects, his works are not heavy but whimsical and playful with a sense of childish innocence, freedom and joy. His work was featured in galleries and exhibitions in the US, Asia and Europe and some of his high-profile murals can be found at Google headquarters in Venice Beach or on the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.
