Creating art and general nonsense’, David Cooley describes in his own terms what he is doing since he was a youngster, experimentation with mediums and techniques. His mixed media pieces show geometric patterns and shapes forming striking optical illusions. Asked why he paints, Cooley says that he wants ‘to contribute something good to humanity, whether it’s something beautiful, thought provoking and meaningful or just plain fun to look at’. Since 2010 Cooley participated in several group and solo shows in the US and Europe.
