Biography / Dima Korma

Dima Korma (born in 1988 in Ukraine) is a visual artist and designer based in Berlin. He studied visual communication at Shenkar College of Engineering, Design, and Art in Israel. His artistic practice spans abstract painting, mural design, and urban art. His work is characterized by geometric and organic forms, an intense color palette, textures, and typographic elements, which he combines into dynamic compositions. He is particularly interested in the relationship between color, form, rhythm, and space. For his murals, Korma creates works that respond to the surrounding architecture and offer a new way of experiencing public space through a distinctive visual language. His works have been featured in international mural and urban art projects in Germany, Spain, and Israel, among other places.

One Wall by Dima Korma
With his new ONE WALL, Berlin-based artist Dima Korma is making a statement about the culture of remembrance in public spaces. On the facade of an apartment building in the Paul-Hertz-Siedlung in Charlottenburg-Nord, Korma combines historical documents and a portrait of resistance fighter Bernhard Lichtenberg with a contemporary visual language.
