Biography / EINS92

EINS92 is a young stencil artist from Germany. Besides his studies at university in the fields of sustainability and environment, art is his great passion and part of the everyday life. His stencils developed from simple one-layers to complex multilayered stencils no matter if 9x9cm or 1,80×1,20m.

It was in 2005 when he chose his artist name EINS92. Eins is the German word for the number one. He chose this name because he wanted to be 1,92m tall but realized soon that he would not reach this goal. So instead of being 1,92 in height, he decided to be 1,92 (EINS92) as a person.

He mainly paints portraits and people in colourful ways. Also he uses different materials to paint on for example canvas, cardboard and wood but also vinyl records, broken skateboards and recycled beer cans.

His aim of painting is to give his and the life of others more colour and make people smile.
