Biography / FAFI

Fafi is a French street artist from Toulouse, France. She has been coloring the streets since 1994. Recognizable for her colorful curvy cartoonish female characters the ‘Fafinettes’; she gave another dimension to the street art world. Her unique style made her name resonate throughout the world. Fafi’s works can be found on their collaboration with URBAN NATION on Project M/7 in 2015.

Having been active for more than two decades, her art got noticed more and more. This underground street art queen has created a universe where the ‘Fafinettes’, ‘Hmilos’, and ‘Birtak’ live. In our world, on Earth, her cartoonish characters enrich the covers of brands like Chanel, Adidas, M.A.C, Hennessy, Swatch. Her easiness with the brush will take your breath away; there is simply no medium on which she won’t put her art and create a miracle of art for the viewer. Her eyes see women’s beauty not only through their pureness, naivety, gentleness, fragileness, but through their curves, sassiness, arrogance, presence, selflessness, this exactly is the message she successfully conveys within her murals. Her ‘Fifinettes’ are there to empower woman as creatures from outer space.
