Forest Rogers at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, receiving a Bachelor in Stage Design, and a Master in Costume Design. She is a prize-winning sculptor that shares her experiences in vast and exciting new ways. Her work can be found on her collaboration with URBAN NATION on Project M/14 in 2019.
Rogers started creating art as a child. At the time her favored mediums were red wax off her aunt’s cheeses, plasticine, papier-måché, and Play-Doh. When we look at her artwork now, there are simultaneous feelings from curiosity to dreaming about these creatures that look like they come out of childhood stories. Rogers’ art has spoken to millions of fans worldwide. She regularly collaborates with commercial clients, designing and sculpting prototypes for models, toys and gift-ware. Her work has been featured in numerous books and magazines.
