Fulvio Di Piazza was born in Syracuse on September 8th in 1969. 1993 he graduated in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino. From 1994 to 1996, he mainly devoted himself to music playing as a drummer with different bands in the Underground Palermitana scene, T.M.W.K.K and the AIRFISH.
In 1997 he articulated an artistic association with the artists Alessandro Bazan, Andrea Di Marco and Francesco De Grandi, from which the “PALERMO SCHOOL” was born, with which Di Piazza participated in numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Since 2010 he has collaborated with the Jonathan Levine gallery in New York where he presented a new cycle of works in the exhibition entitled “ENTANGLED” back in January 2017. His works are present in permanent collections including the Regional Museum of Palazzo Riso and the URBAN NATION MUSEUM in Berlin. Since 2014 he has been teaching at the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo. He lives and works in Palermo.
