About the project

Queerness Through Presentation is a project that explores the way LQBTQA+ people present themselves and why their external presentation is important to them. It asks queer people in Germany how their clothing, accessories, and fashion choices relate to their sexual identity. Hannah gains ideas for her artistic practice through a series of interviews and craft workshops. The results of this research inform her artistic practice in the form of drawings, sculptures, and costumes. Her goal is to promote community engagement for queer people.
