ISS.UE is a street artist and graphic designer currently based in Berlin. Born and raised in Simferopol / Ukraine, ISS.UE began his graffiti adventure in 2004. After completing his studies in Moscow, where he then lived and worked, the artist went through several stages of formation, evolving from painting on trains and classical graffiti to studio practice and mural creation, applying experience in digital media, as well as a love of typography and poster art. Urban space still remains the main source of inspiration and the main platform for the implementation of his ideas, and working with letters has become a way of exploring form.
In his artistic process, ISS.UE addresses themes of transformation, chance and interconnection. Drawing inspiration from multi-layered urban environments and spontaneous situations, he interprets randomly seen objects and artifacts of the man-made world through geometric shapes and digital techniques, creating vivid and intricate narratives. By using different methods and materials and experimenting with techniques, ISS.UE crafts a new visual experience for the viewer, leaving space for personal interpretation.
