Since 2009, US artist Jason Botkin has created more than 200 murals internationally and has co-founded the collaborative drawing and community project ‘En Masse’. ‘Reflect reflection, looking in and looking out. Each image is a composite of smaller ones and the completion of the parts create the whole’, Jason Botkin describes his artworks. Born in Denver, Colorado, in 1974 and graduated with honours from Alberta College of Art and Design in 1997. Since then, in addition to painting 200 murals all over the world, he also co-created the drawing experience and community building project entitled ‘En Masse’; ‘a multi-artist, collaborative drawing project that explores the creation of highly spontaneous, large-scale collaborative black and white drawings and public installations’.
