Biography / KKADE

Pascal ‘KKADE’ Flühmann is a Swiss-based graphic designer and artist, currently residing in Bern. A well-established artist in where his works involve typography and lettering through various mediums ranging from paint on canvas to intricate pen illustrations. KKADE has been collaborating on projects since 2015, namely on one Project M/7, entitled ‘Persons of Interest’.

After his educational training and working in various jobs to gather experience, he became a freelancer Graphic Designer and Artist in 2011. KKADE’s works proudly displays the sources of his inspiration, from the usage of Swiss graphic traditions such as the crests on the buildings of his city, art deco ornamentation or the contemporary North American typefaces and insignia from the states associated with West Coast tattoo and tagging cultures. The style and intricacy of KKADE’s works have garnered interest and have gained commissioned work by a number of companies and across the globe and have given him a chance for exposure from the Americas to Australia.
