Her artistic work focuses on capturing and documenting the faces of those around her. Her interest lies in capturing the unspoken – the subtle essence of a person and the authentic moment of encounter.
Through her work, Paula Marie aims to create a bridge to connect people of diverse backgrounds. This is reflected in her exploration of social and political issues, as well as her multidisciplinary approach.
She uses diverse media, including Japanese alcohol markers, ink, and spray cans.
In recent years, Paula Marie has presented her work at major national and international solo and group exhibitions such as Monumenta Leipzig, Moores & Moores Art Gallery Perth, and Next Now at RAW Gelände Berlin.
