Biography / PISA73

PISA73 is a Berlin based, German artist and designer. He is best known for his outstanding multi-layered stencil technique, inspired by his personal experience with his fears, wishes, concerns, limits. Moreover, he has been working as a graffiti artist since the 1990s. PISA73’s works are featured as a part of the opening of URBAN NATION Museum in 2017.

PISA73 attended the School of Applied Science Pforzheim, Germany, studying visual communication. After this experience, one of his struggles became his duality of over thinking vs. the free impulsive painter he is. This enables him to go deeper and express himself even better. Being influenced by skateboarding, BMX his multi-layered stencils requires more than just a sketch. After knowing what he wants to do, he tries to recreate his own photo, mainly because he avoids working with other people’s work, and yet another final sketching to make sure everything matches to his liking.
