Roberto Rivadeneira – Ecuador (1991) – is a muralist and visual artist who grew up in Quito Ecuador, and since 2014 resides and works in Berlin – Germany. After studying design in Sydney – Australia; Roberto’s initial graphic work has slowly transformed into an abstract interpretation in which the artist studies the relationship between abstraction and quotidian elements of our daily lives. Predominantly focussing on studio work and mural painting, the works range from small pieces to larger mural formats. My work is deeply influenced by early 1900s painters, contemporary culture, and everyday observations between different cities and societies. Rather than a statement, Roberto’s work is an open invitation for viewers to adapt and interact within the space and atmosphere.
In 2020 Roberto Rivadeneira created a ONE WALL mural for URBAN NATION in Berlin
