New Yorkers are familiar with SEEN’s work since the early ‘70s. At the time when people were not so familiar with graffiti he took the challenge as a game and choose a style that improved every time. He grew up to become a legend in the graffiti art scene. Together with his crew, the United Artist (UA), he was a pioneer painting of top-to bottom cars and his fascination with comic heroes and TV cartoons lead him to add exceptional illustrations to his tags. SEEN has exhibited his artwork in numerous galleries in the States cooperating with other great name artist. He opened a tattooing studio, which became great success and was published in Martha Cooper and Margo Thompson’s books. Known as the Godfather of Graffiti, his impact in the creation of this scene is huge.
