The Berlin artist Sven Uwe Kaiser (born 1987 in Frankfurt/Oder) combines ancient Greek painting tradition with a modern cubist perspective in his works. His spectrum ranges from classical canvas widths to installations and huge murals. His works are characterized not only by their masterful technique, but also by their deliberate restriction to just two colors. His paintings, characterized by interlocking compositions, build bridges between past and present. The inspiration from antiquity is revealed in every brushstroke.
