Tran Nguyen is a freelance illustrator, gallery artist and muralist based in Georgia, United States. Tran’s paintings are made with a forgiving, gentle characteristic that’s is achieved by using coloured pencil and acrylic on paper. Her works are featured in the URBAN NATION 2018 exhibition, ‘UN-DERSTAND The Power of Art as a Social Architect’.
Born in Vietnam and immigrated to the United States with her family at the age of three. Tran graduated in Illustration at Savannah College of Art & Design in 2009 and has since showcased her work since then with galleries across the world, having created illustrations for magazines, book covers, wine and beer labels, film, animation, in addition to other publicity resources, she has preciously worked with organisations such as VH1, Tiger Beer, and the World Wildlife Fund. Tran also provides lectures on her craft and contributes to art publications frequently.
