Data collection

The following Data is collected when you enter it to us on a request form:
• Name
• Surname
• Email
• Address
• Date of the tour/ event
• Time, start/ end
• Group name
• Number of guests
• Group/ organisation type
• Service/ activity
• location

Other data can be used to analyze how visitors use the site. The website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in “server log files”. These are:
• Browser type and browser version
• Operating system used
• Referrer URL
• Host name of the accessing computer
• Time of the server request
• IP address

These data will not be combined with data from other sources. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO, which allows the processing of data to fulfill a contract or for measures preliminary to a contract. No additional data is collected or is only collected on a voluntary basis. We only use this data to send the requested information and analyze how visitors use the site and do not pass it on to third parties. We will, therefore, process any data you enter onto the request form only with your consent per Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO. You can revoke consent to the storage of your data and email address at any time through an email to info@urban-nation.com. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed. The data provided when using the form will be used to process your request for not more than the conclusion of your visit or until you cancel your request.

Data from enquiry forms that are cancelled will be deleted on 31.12. of the two following years after they
have been sent to tour@urban-nation.com. Data from the enquiry form that leads to the booking of a guide, workshop or event location will be deleted in accordance with the principles for the proper keeping and storage of books, records and documents in electronic form of the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information after a retention period of 10 years.

You always have the right to request information about your stored data, its origin, its recipients, and the
purpose of its collection at no charge. You also have the right to request that it be corrected, blocked, or deleted. You can contact us at any time using info@urban-nation.com if you have further questions about the issue of privacy and data protection. You may also, of course, file a complaint with the competent regulatory authorities.

Right to file complaints with regulatory authorities

If there has been a breach of data protection legislation, the person affected may file a complaint with the competent regulatory authorities. The competent regulatory authority for matters related to data protection legislation is the data protection officer of the German state in which our company is headquartered. Plugin – Matomo

This website uses Matomo 3, an open source, self-hosted software to collect anonymous usage data for
this website. Visitor behavior data is collected to identify any issues such as pages not found, search engine issues, or unpopular pages. Once the data is processed (number of visitors viewing the error pages or just one page, etc.), Matomo generates reports for the website operators to allow them to respond. (Layout changes, new content, etc.)

Matomo processes the following data:

Cookies, Anonymized IP addresses by removing the last 2 bytes (ie 198.51.0.0 instead of 198.51.100.54),
Pseudoanonymized location (based on the anonymized IP address), Date and Time, Title of the accessed page, URL of the visited page, URL of the previous page (if allowed), screen resolution, Local time, Files that were clicked and downloaded, External links, Duration of the page layout, Country, region, city (low accuracy due to IP address), Main language of the browser, User Agent of the browser, Interactions with forms (but not their content).
