Urban Nation @ Lange Nacht der Museen
The URBAN NATION MUSEUM FOR URBAN CONTEMPORARY ART is taking part in the Lange Nacht der Museen for the second time and is one of the 80 Berlin museums that open its doors to art lovers in the night from Saturday, August 25th to Sunday, August 26th until 2 am.
A very special surprise awaits visitors to the museum this evening! Under the direction of curator Yasha Young, an interactive work of art entitled “The Sound Of My Color” was created that invites people to join in. True to this year’s motto of the Lange Nacht der Museen – “Stairs” – we are dealing with the staircase works, which have been part of the URBAN NATION since 2017. Visitors can create their own melody on the stairs and thus create their own personal work of art.
Guided tours through the museum with detailed information about the artworks and artists take place at 6:30 pm, 8:30 pm, 11:00 pm and 1:00 am.
Tickets (18€ / reduced 12€, children up to 12 years free) are available at www.lange-nacht-der-museen.de.
