Live @ the museum Part II by Fanakapan

Fanakapan started the second round of the URBAN NATION “Live @ the museum” series at the end of May. The launch of this new series at the museum was given by Canadian artist Laurence Vallières in March.

Both artists created a unique sculpture in front of the visitors and added so two more highlights to the museum.

Above all, the British artist Fanakapan is known for his 3-D creations, which look like helium balloons and which he skilfully stages through a successful interplay of light and shadow, thus challenging the spatial perception of the viewer.

For the “Live @ the museum” series he spent a week working in the musuem, creating a unique work that at the same time pays homage to his favorite work equipment and the roots of his work.
