The URBAN NATION offers an exciting selection of workshops. These are exclusively bookable for groups. Both children and adults are invited to discover the most important techniques of Urban Arts. Here, learning can be combined with real fun – the minimum age is stated in the programme in each case. All workshops are led by artists from the Berlin scene and offered in both German and English. Some are even offered in other languages – let us surprise you!
You can choose from graffiti (style writing, B-Boy character, bubble style, stencils), calligraffiti, stickers, collage workshop “Pattern making + Paper Cut”, screen printing – techniques that are also represented in the current exhibition TALKING… & OTHER BANANA SKINS.

Three workshops also enable direct engagement with the exhibition in the URBAN NATION Museum: there you can explore the exhibition and process impressions and ideas with a sketchbook. This format is also offered with two further additions: With the workshop World Saviours in Action, impressions on the themes “Earth, Water, Air” are collected in the exhibition and then a pop-up object or map is developed. In the workshop That’s me, favourite figures, graffiti and art writings are sought in the exhibition. Using cardboard stencils, a house wall is then designed with individual bricks. They serve as a background for the collected drawings or for a comic.
