Hailing from a small town in Belmont, Massachusetts where he was exposed to street culture and graffiti at a very young age. He then moved to Belgium along with his family and was still fascinated by the culture despite the scarcity in his new environment. As a young teenager, he was constantly attached to his sketchbook, so his choice to major in comic-book design was a natural choice.
His surreal images and portraits with expressive masks are a common theme; the distinction between the mask and face seemingly fade to explain as if the mask becomes the true face of the subject. A Squid Called Sebastian manages his artworks in such a complex and compound method to create a surreal world in its recognizable style.
