Anna Lukashevsky is a contemporary visual artist born in Lithuania, who lives and works in Haifa, Israel. Lukashevsky predominately works with oil on canvas. Her methodology entails painting from observation, in the full sense of the word, as she observes people in all their dimensions: the visual, social and psychological.
She has had solo exhibitions at the Haifa Art Museum, Bat Yam Art Museum and Rosenfeld Gallery. She is a member of the New Barbizon Group, a collective of post-Soviet women artists.
Her work entitled “HIGH TECH OPEN SPACE” is on display in the current exhibition “Talking…& Other Banana Skins“.
