MONIK was born in Berlin in 1982 and has been holding a spray can in her hand since 1997. Through several stays abroad, she has come into contact with artists from different countries and has thus developed a mixed style with cans, rollers and stencils that is difficult to pigeonhole.
While her beginnings in graffiti were mainly focused on style writing, she is increasingly looking for the experimental in the figurative and likes to combine futuristic, technology-oriented image objects with the emotional challenges of being human. Wherever she happens to be, street art is a part of her life.
