“Across the Non-Place”

Across the Non-Place emerges from one of the key ideas in Marc Augé’s text: Non-Places: Introductionto an Anthropology of Supermodernity. Our aim is to reinterpretthese dominant spaces in super modern societies currently hyperdeveloped bothvisually and textually in the urban environment. We will refer to certain elements such as traffic signs, billboards or monuments recreating them in a sculpture, painting and graphic art installation and endowing them with a new meaning.”
