Interesni Kazki is an amazing duo created by Aleksei Bordusov known as AEC and Vladimir Manzhos also known as Waone. This Ukrainian artist duo is best known for their large-scale surreal and colorful murals. Experimenting with various technics they went back using the traditional paintbrush, rolls and acrylic paint. Interesni Kazki’s works featured as a part of the opening of URBAN NATION Museum in 2017.
Coming from different unique and mainly art background, in 2005 Aec and Waone established the artistic duo Interesni Kazki. Even without knowing what that means just by looking at their artwork, it is somehow obvious the meaning is ‘Interesting Fairytales’. After they have decided that spraying letters is not so fulfilling, they combined their passion and started making new unique contemporary art murals with graffiti roots. Their fairytale stories are allegorical and figurative using imaginary that is free for personal interpretation. Their artwork tries to understand the mystical reasons of ‘The Universe’ and topics ranging from science, myth-history. Experimenting with various technics they went back using the traditional paintbrush. Many cities have had the chance to carry their mural artwork. Their unusual imagery and wide range of characters, elements and symbols makes their work unique and beautiful.
The current exhibition “Talking…& Other Banana Skins” features his piece “EARTHLINGS”.
