Jean Pierre Arboleda's passion for wild creatures and their habitat is the main theme of his work. The painter deals with questions of evolutionary change, pollution and the effects of war. By giving his animals human qualities, he simultaneously makes their souls visible. Arboleda wants the viewer of his paintings to empathize with the reality of his animal protagonists in order to understand the impact man has on our planet.
