The artist Christian Hinz aka “Kera”, born 1985 in Berlin, has been working with color, printing techniques and façade painting for over 23 years. His works are geometrically abstract and spatial at the same time, graphics and aesthetics play a major role. Both the environment and the associated color world, as well as impulses from his love of the haptic and craft often flow into it.
His work visibly reflects his graphic design studies and his passion for line, structure and surface. His longstanding use of spray paint, brushes and wall paint helped him develop his own style. He prefers to deal with large-format walls, the area to be produced cannot be large enough for him.
Murals and “Kunst am Bau” (art on architecture) projects can be found worldwide, from Qatar, Mexico to Great Britain and in many other European regions. He is also represented by galleries and at numerous art fairs, for this he creates canvases and objects in his style in a compressed and detailed way.
Since 2012, Kera works as freelance artist, and can now even pass on his fascination and passion for printing techniques as a lecturer at the “Jugendkunstschule Berlin-Steglitz” (youth art school).
