Members of the artist collective Klebebande shape their urban environment artistically since the 1990s. The trio developed their unique Tape Art style, creating three-dimensional works and building concepts always discovering new dimensions resulting from working with tape. Their works are featured as a part of the opening of the URBAN NATION Museum in 2017.
Born in Berlin, the three Klebebande members Bodo Höbing, Bruno Ridderbusch and Kolja Bultmann proclaiming that ‘Tape is the new paint!’ Klebebande came together in Berlin-Kreuzberg in 2010, when Bruno was an autodidactic graphic designer, Bodo graduated in communications design and Kolja ran a gallery for outsider art after studying business administration. For almost a decade now their focus has been on Tape Art. They have also invented the so-called Tape Mapping, a combination of Tape Art and video mapping creating optical illusions based on Tape Art and video sequences.
