Biography / NEVERCREW

Sweden has many things to be proud of, one being the amazing artist duo NEVERCREW. Christian Rebecchi & Pablo Togni work together for since 1996. The scope of their artwork goes beyond the mesmerizing murals. They also create installations, sculptures, small format paintings, always mixing hyper-realistic and graphic element, creating a captivating site-specific art. NEVERCREW’s works can be found on their collaboration with URBAN NATION on Project M/7 in 2015.

NEVERCREW were students in the Lugano’s School of Art, after which they continued developing their knowledge at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milano. Their global presence is remarkable and to show their appreciation, they were awarded in several occasions. The detail that makes them so distinctive is definitely the focus of their work, the unique representation of the relationship between mankind and nature, mankind and the system, including the social injustice and the natural, human and animal truth. The history of this relationship always adjusted to the site sends a message remembering the feeling of being a part of, being in the middle of and moreover influencing something, and thus setting the equilibrium of living and inanimate, mechanical and biological, material and animal elements.
