Planet 256 is an established part of Berlin’s urban art scene, known for his powerful characters and highly detailed styles. For many years he has been combining classic graffiti writing with illustrative influences, developing his very own visual cosmos. His treatment of forms and color fields is deliberately deconstructive, driven by a spirit of experimentation and the ambition to constantly explore new stylistic directions.
Planet 256 draws inspiration, among other sources, from comics and science fiction – always with a good dose of humor. In his most recent works, he increasingly experiments with the offsetting and interlocking of lines and shapes, creating breaks, shifts and interwoven layers. This approach generates a strong sense of spatial depth and a complex dynamic within his compositions.
