Biography / The Weird

The Weird is a supremely talented group of artists spread across Austria and Germany. Varied in style, together they are capable of large-scale mural production, combining elements of all of their individual approaches to create multi-layered, high-impact paintings.

The ten members of the crew – FRAU ISA, DXTR, CONE, LOOK, VIDAM, NYCHOS, ROOKIE, HRVB, QBRK and NERD – are all highly talented artists in their own right, each exhibiting individually in solo shows as well as combining together for group productions.

Competent illustrators, graphic designers, lecturers and music producers by career, The Weird were drawn together through a shared background in graffiti. A rare occurrence in the world, The Weird is one of the few crews to all paint characters in their works.
