Biography / VEXTA

Australian artist Vexta, is a stencil and fine artist highly revered as one of the most respected female street artists of our time. Famous for her stencil paintings and wheat-pastes, which are inspired from cultural visual debris, herself taught aesthetic and an on-going exploration of printmaking and painting. Vexta’s works are featured in the URBAN NATION 2018 exhibition, ‘UN-DERSTAND The Power of Art as a Social Architect’.

Her iconic psychedelic artworks surround the concepts among death and reincarnation and are mixed with her own imagery which attempts to combine the notions between the individual, the collective, our consciousness and the dreams which we have behind it. A fundamental part to Vexta is how she conveys her art to the people on the streets and it’s is down to this that she has created a massive following across the world. Vexta’s works have been seen upon the streets of some of the most significant cities across the globe, Paris, Sydney, Mexico City, Bogota, San Francisco and New York and many more to come.
