wanitapagihari is a Berlin-based artist and former interior designer. In recent years, she has realized large-scale works such as murals using spray and paint techniques. She began with a commission in Berlin from Vectornator, now known as Curve, to create a mural in their former headquarters in Berlin. From fall 2022 to 2023, she has collaborated with a tape art company to create vibrant designs on walls and windows in Germany, Stockholm, Denmark, Paris and the Netherlands.
Inspired by the vibrant colors of her home country on the equator, Indonesia, as well as sea creatures and the ocean, wanitapagihari incorporates tentacles into her style to symbolize emotions from personal experiences with mental health that can also be relevant to other people. She shows through her art how to deal with her emotions. She likes to work with spatial perception, different angles and psychedelic optics.
