Biography / Xenz

British artist Xenz rose to fame when he branched away from the TCF graffiti crew to follow his own solo career in London. With a graffiti background, his work has an ethereal quality to it which he strongly attributes to the intrinsic nature of working with the flow of gases painting with aerosols.

Often drawing on the natural world for his subject matter, Xenz paints landscapes from his imagination, using the spray can to capture fragments of memory and ever-changing themes, ranging from imaginary cities to enchanted forests.

Xenz has exhibited in the UK, USA, Ibiza, New Delhi and Sydney, including sell-out solo shows in London, and his limited-edition prints are in huge demand. His work is in private and public collections worldwide and he continues to push the limits of the aerosol can as his weapon of choice.
