URBAN NATION X LOLLAPALOOZA 2018

Since 2015, the Lollapalooza and the URBAN NATION MUSEUM FOR URBAN CONTEMPORARY ART have shared the same mission: to bring people together with art and music. Therefore, it was perfectly clear that this unique cooperation will continue in 2018.

Thanks to the impressive line-up of this year with The Weeknd, Kraftwerk 3D, K.I.Z., The National, Casper etc. the festival visitors in and around the Berlin Olympic Stadium got something on their ears. Together with Sandra Chevrier, the brothers How and Nowsm and Ludo, URBAN NATION ensured that the eyes did not fall short.

After 2015, 2016 and 2017, “We paint the music you love to hear” was once again a unique fusion of art and music and the result of a very special cooperation between musicians and street artists. Each artist reinterpreted a song, the band or one of their albums and transformed it into a widely visible work of art that graced the Olympic Stadium’s rondel throughout the entire festival, providing a popular background for many of the more than 70,000 visitors’ photos:
