Biography / TRISTAN EATON

Brooklyn based artist, Tristan Eaton known for being a jack of all trades concerning art, being a graffiti artist, street art muralist, illustrator and even his skills being transferred to toy designer. From his beginnings as a troubled teenager his street art was expressed via billboards and dumpsters and has grown ever since. Tristan’s works are featured in the URBAN NATION 2018 exhibition, ‘UN-DERSTAND The Power of Art as a Social Architect’.

Born in Hollywood, Los Angeles in 1978. Tristan moved around a few times during his childhood, having moved to London at the age of 8, then moving to Detroit, Michigan, finally moving to New York at age 20, where he has since settled.

Tristan’s first brushes with art was found alongside his brushes with the law, as a young street artist, he found himself on the wrong side of the law being arrested for tagging and shoplifting, his saving grace having being to demonstrate his artistic talent to members of authority in society.

Tristan Eaton has painted street art murals in neighbourhoods across the states. The ultimate ambition is to make art approachable for those in environments that aren’t as accessible as others, so that others from various economic classes have access to grey buildings.
