Stockholm-based artist Andreas Englund is mostly recognized for his humoristic oil paintings of an imagined superheroes’ daily life. These paintings are not only fascinating snaps of a story that the viewers’ subconscious continues by itself but also gripping thanks to their extreme photorealism. Englund’s paintings can be found on canvas, and have also taken to the streets as oversized murals. Englund’s work is featured in the URBAN NATION 2018 exhibition, ‘UN-DERSTAND The Power of Art as a Social Architect’.
