Biography / Mr. Paradox Paradise

Mr. Paradox Paradise is a Berlin-based artist and urban writer who spares neither effort nor great heights to paint cryptic messages on the walls of skyscrapers, buildings and underground railway shafts in cities around the world. Paradox uses public spaces to inscribe them with large-format symbols in striking blue and red.

Unique to these larger-than-life lettering are footnotes that explain the meaning of the lettering. Paradox’s artworks are provocations that serve to constantly challenge and question our view of urban society. His extensive works are intended to create a broader social awareness. “Look up!” – he says.

In 2022, he created a ONE WALL in Bülowstraße, in the vicinity of the URBAN NATION Museum, using blue and red Sparycans. The colours are a significant feature of his works. The ONE WALL he created refers to his exhibited work ” FREIHEIT” meaning “freedom”, in the exhibition “Talking…& Other Banana Skins” (2022-2024). Mr. Paradox Paradise takes part in the exhibition “Love Letters to the City”, 2024-2027.
