Fresh A.I.R. #8 | LINGUISTIC XPEDITION
The exhibition presents artworks by the twelve artists from eight European countries, who spent ten months as our 8th class Fresh A.I.R. scholars in Berlin. They investigated the act of speaking as a constitutive element of human perception and communication. The artistic exploration ranges from aspects of everyday language use, verbal language actions, language thinking and language action to the structural power of language.
Colorful, loud and impressive, the artists show with their sculptures, paintings, illustrations, photographs, installations, drawings and audiovisual contributions that communication can be ambiguous and onomatopoeic, obscure and distort, and also fail.
