As the museum is mainly financed by donations, we are happy to receive any admission donation in the box at the counter or our digital donation column.

Erosie

Eindhoven-based Jeroen Heemann also known as Erosie, is a visual artist, known for his colourful and abstract style that could be interpreted as Matisse-inspired by aficionados of Expressionism. Erosie’s art can be found on concrete as well as on canvas and all over the world. Erosie collaborated with URBAN NATION on Project M/12 in 2017.

Various & Gould are the Berlin based duo who are almost never short of innovative and wildly imaginative works. Working closely in collaboration for over a decade, the two have been known for their outlandish pieces of art and the mediums that go along with it, whether it may be screen-printing, collages, installations, or even public performances. Various & Gould’s works are featured in the URBAN NATION 2018 exhibition, ‘UN-DERSTAND The Power of Art as a Social Architect’.

Klone Yourself

Born in Ukraine and currently based in Tel Aviv, Israel, artist Klone Yourself graduated from graffiti to huge murals and installations depicting haunting subjects in abstract mannerisms. His works can be found on his collaboration with URBAN NATION on Project M/2 in 2014.

Handidan URBAN NATION Secret Dinner Plates

The art of Dutch artist Handiedan involves an intricate cut and paste mixture of computer montage and highly detailed sculptural hand cut collages, complimented by conscientiously collected antique ornamental frames. Her art is featured in the URBAN NATION 2018 exhibition, ‘UN-DERSTAND The Power of Art as a Social Architect’.

Brooklyn-based artistic collaboration FAILE is Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller blurring the line between low and high culture with a wide-ranging multimedia practice since 1999. Since then painting and printmaking remain central to their approach, but the range of materials and techniques reaches from wooden boxes and window pallets to more traditional canvas, prints, sculptures, stencils, installations and even prayer wheels. FAILE’s works can be found on their collaboration with URBAN NATION on Project M/1 and M/6 in 2014.

David Hochbaum

New-York-based artist David Hochbaum art does not only touch one subject. Neither does it consist of one artistic expression. In a mixed-media approach, he combines various art forms in his pieces, mainly paintings built on photographs and images. Selected works can be found in Hochbaum’s collaboration with URBAN NATION on Project M/3 in 2014.

David Cooley

Self-taught artist David Cooley was born in 1978 and is based in Santa Barbara, California. His works are described as highly textural with spikes of acrylic paint, as he is experimenting with techniques and mediums such as acrylic, spray paint, resin and fabric since ever. ‘His works are featured as a part of the opening of the URBAN NATION Museum in 2017.
