The Berlin district of Reinickendorf, respectively the Art Park Tegel, was once again a hotspot for urban art lovers in July. For more than two weeks, the renowned street art artists Nuno Viegas, Hera and Akut have worked together on an oversized ONE WALL in Neheimerstraße.
The artwork, measuring 42×16 meters, is now part of Artpark Tegel – one of the largest outdoor galleries in the capital, next to Fintan Magee. Pixel Pancho, Hownosm, The London Police, Borondo, Collin van der Sluijs and Super A.
With the jointly designed ONE WALL “real recognize real”, Nuno Viegas from Portugal and the two artists from Herakut want to remind the citizens of Berlin what makes Berlin such a unique city. It’s not the clubs, the hip districts or the vibrant nightlife, it is the closeness to nature. The woman in the hoodie stands symbolically for the new urban lifestyle and enjoys the beauty and diversity of nature.
