C-WALL by Felix Lies

The URBAN NATION Museum presents an artistic program in public space that goes beyond the current exhibition LOVE LETTERS TO THE CITY.
For the opening of the exhibition and as part of the Bülow Street Festival, Maxim BrandtCAZ.LKasia DudziakNerea FerrerRommy GonzálezPablo ientileJakob der BruderFelix LiesKristina PopovSnyderwanitapagihariWESR and Jazoo Yang have created new murals, so-called C-Walls, which take up the exhibition theme around the URBAN NATION Museum.

The mural by Fresh A.I.R. artist Felix Lies depicts two mice interacting with an abstract structure composed of colorful blocks. The blocks are arranged to resemble a makeshift home, complete with a red draped cloth and a ladder leading upwards. The scene has a playful yet thought-provoking quality, symbolizing themes of creativity, resourcefulness, and the challenges of living in limited spaces. The backdrop features a blend of soft pinks and purples, adding depth and dynamism to the artwork. The mural conveys the idea of making the most of confined environments, echoing urban living experiences.
